Can I demand dog screening? Or, can I strip to verify security in a private area but deny touching? I need to know to decide on flying.
If I am refused these options, can I leave on my own terms with immediate refund?
Is it true that only 5% will be selected for additional abuse?
I suggest passengers define their own security procedures:
Refuse radiation and require the private area for the “pat down”
Take a witness (If alone, request a neutral person or police officer) and your own camera for your own record and purposes.
Scan for cameras in the “private” area and note any you find (require they are covered if it bothers you).
Insist that you drop pants, lift shirt, and show what they need to see, but they are not to touch you.
If TSA doesn’t accept your terms, bring in their supervisors, police, police lieutenants, lawyers for you … until you get compliance.
After all this, regardless of the result, you have still been abused (procedurally in the very least), so please
File with the ACLU and take any other appropriate legal actions.
This is not ultimately appropriate (still unreasonable search), but it is a hell of a lot better than radiation or molestation. Dogs would be the most effective, quickest, and cheapest screeners. Let me know what you think and where the procedure needs editing. Remember, the security is for passengers, so we need to define OUR parameters.
‘I decline radiation and molestation. I elect to do a brief behavioral interview to establish my security status.”
For now, use only the best and brightest officers for the interview, as they have to “relate” to people. Later, dismantle the TSA and hire intelligent, educated, salaried professionals of all backgrounds. Pay for it from the war budget that is creating the current climate of terrorism.
In the meantime, keep the scanners for sheep that elect that option, but focus them for sterilization (population control and clean the gene pool; Give them a free suntan in the deal). Drop molestation, regardless, because it is well documented that victims of abuse usually engage in abuse, and we just don’t need to escalate that anymore in our society.

In the current climate of abuse, TSA might try to deny and further threaten your rights. Ask to talk with a police officer, and start the interview. Note the two guys that video taped the screening activities in Miami. They were confronted by at least three different police officers in different instances. The officers were courteous but persistently attempted to deny the two citizens’ rights. The citizens’ had the officers consult their lieutenants, who educated the lower level officers that the citizens were in the right. No matter if you have had bad experiences with cops, they are better educated and qualified to deal with you on a psycho-behavioral level. It probably makes sense to ask for a police officer to serve witness as soon as you decline radiation and elect to go to the private area (should expedite and get on with your trip).
I want to fly home and have developed a procedure/script to satisfy airport security and keep some semblance of my rights in a free country:
“I decline radiation and elect to use the private area.”
“Please let me talk to a police officer as well.”
At the private area:
“Hello officer, I’m ————– ——————-.”
“I am asking that you conduct and/or witness a brief behavioral interview to establish my security status.”
“I am flying to —————— for ———————-.” (showing ticket, ID, pocket contents, and camera) “I am video/photo documenting this for my own record.”
Option, if the officer does not accept the interview: Insist there will be no touching but that you (passenger) will drop pants, lift shirt, and show what they need to see.
Request full copy of any security camera data in which you appear, with time, date, and location documentation.
Will you consider instituting this? That could quickly reduce the incidence of the stripping component to negligible. Screening with dogs would be fine too. Please advise if and when dogs should be included in the regular procedure.
Thank you for considering instituting this. Please expedite; there is no reason for institutional radiation, molestation, and neglect of more effective, quicker, cheaper, non-abusive screening.
The channel called afterthepress has put up a very informative YouTube video on health effects of the backscatter radiation, with some heavyweight scientists being interviewed. I have nothing to do with the channel. I found it browsing YouTube last night. Again, the channel is called afterthepress. You will have no trouble quickly finding the video. Best, Helena

Who’s in? Our government obviously can’t handle arranging appropriate procedure, but I hope we can.
Anyone there? This site is a great collation of a wide range of articles. Now, lets get this fixed, YESTERDAY!
No one here. Everybody’s taking it up the ass for this?
